SEA-EU announces the second edition of the STudent STartup Competition!

 

We invite all entrepreneurial students to participate in an international initiative supporting student startups. Selected teams will have the opportunity to present their projects to representatives of the business world, and the best of them will compete for the title of „Best University Startup 2022” and the right to present at the prestigious Wolves Summit 2022.

Scientific consortium comprising: Department of Recombinant Vaccines (Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology University of Gdansk and Medical University of Gdansk), Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and pharmaceutical company Adamed obtained a grant from Medical Research Agency (ABM) within the frame of the call “Development of innovative therapeutic solutions based on RNA technology”.

Prestigious EMBO grant for dr Paulina Nastala

Paulina Nastały, Ph.D. from the Division of Translational Oncology of the Medical University of Gdańsk has obtained funding from EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant for project The interplay between nuclear envelope architecture, glucocorticoid signaling and YAP pathway leading to prostate cancer progression. The research will be conducted in cooperation with Prof. Giannino Del Sal in the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Trieste, Italy.
