Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology among one of the best faculties in Poland
The Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk has taken second place as the best biotechnology course in Poland. The faculty was placed after the Jagiellonian University’s Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology according to the ‘Perspektywy 2016’ ranking. In the ‘Ranking of Courses of Study ‒ Biotechnology’, the faculty took second place, an improvement of one position on last year’s result, overtaking the University of Warsaw.
‘Perspektywy’ publishes an annual ranking of universities and courses of study. Gdańsk’s Biotechnology has occupied the podium for several years. The ranking is principally addressed to candidates for studies ‒ pupils at secondary and technical schools, especially final year matura classes, deciding on their future education, and also BA graduates seeking an attractive continuation to their studies.
