We are seeking a motivated candidate for a 4-year PhD position in the Laboratory of Structural Biology at the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Gdańsk.

This interdisciplinary project explores the innovative use of bacterial toxin-antitoxin modules to enhance recombinant protein production. It combines molecular microbiology, protein engineering, biochemistry, and advanced structural biology techniques. We look forward to welcoming passionate researchers.

We would like to inform you about the launch of the next edition of the call for proposals under the Didactic Initiatives Fund (FID). Academic teachers employed at the University of Gdańsk, as well as doctoral students, may apply for funding to implement projects supporting the development of didactics.

Up to April 25th you may submit the application in Fahrenheit Synergy Programme, under which the research groups from the MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG may obtain project funding up to PLN 750,000.

Grant applications may be submitted by teams consisting of three research groups, with each group affiliated with a different university (the MUG, Gdańsk Tech and UG). Each research group shall be headed by a leader who is an employee of the respective University, for whom that University is the primary place of employment.
