Dr hab. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak, Prof. UG, Appointed as a Member of the International Eczema Council

We are delighted to share the news that dr hab. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak, prof. UG has been appointed as an Associate of the International Eczema Council (IEC).

The International Eczema Council (IEC) is a global, nonprofit organization of dermatology experts committed to increasing understanding of atopic dermatitis (eczema) and improving patient care worldwide. The IEC brings together leading researchers and clinicians to promote research, foster international collaboration, and support education in the field of eczema.

Professor Gutowska-Owsiak’s invitation to join this prestigious body came from Professor Alan Irvine, a renowned figure in dermatology and a long-standing IEC member. Her inclusion as an Associate recognizes her significant contributions to eczema research and her dedication to advancing our understanding of skin barrier function and inflammation.
