Dr. hab. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak, professor at the University of Gdańsk, organized the E2BRN conference in Lisbon.

At the beginning of September, the conference of the European Epidermal Barrier Research Network (E2BRN) took place in Lisbon. The event was organized by Dr. hab. Danuta Gutowska-Owsiak, professor at the University of Gdańsk, and Dr. Ryan O'Shaughnessy (from Queen Mary University of London), Dr Sandra Simoes (Universidade de Lisboa) was the local organizer. This was the 21st meeting of this network, which gathers annually.

The conference was part of the Congress of the European Society for Dermatological Research (ESDR).
